Africa Agri Forum: Which green revolution for the African continent?

More than 200 professionals of the African agriculture are expected on 13th and 14th October 2014 in Abidjan (Ivory Coast) for the Africa Agri Forum (AAF). Placed under the theme « Which green revolution for the African continent », the meeting will be the opportunity to private and public actors of the sector to evoke the questions related to the role of the African governments in the development and the promotion of agriculture.

For the edition 2014 of the Africa Agri Forum (AAF), it is planned an executive Round Table, plenary sessions, visionary keynotes, practical workshops and an exhibition space B2B. The forum also offers real opportunities of business, visibility and Networking to the actors sectors.

« The various plenary sessions will deal with the current situation, the growth drivers of agriculture on the continent and with best practices of modernization of the sector and with valuation of agriculture in Africa « , indicated a communiqué of the steering committee of the event.

The year 2014 was decreed year of agriculture by the African Union. The organizations of the civil society are multiplying actions to incite decision-makers to invest more in the sector. As reminder, the African States made the commitment in 2003, of bringing to 10 % the part of their budget dedicated to agriculture.
