Through e-readers, it is henceforth possible to have access to the digital book in Africa and at the modest price of 650 FCFA.

This, thanks to the application « Quick Do« , developed by the French-Cameroonian, Dominique Buendé.

Rewarded in 2013 through the « Orange Social Prize » for the same innovation, the developer has just been rewarded again in the « Social Business » category within the framework of the African Entrepreneur of France Prize.

The award ceremony took place on 19th June 2014 in the Marriott hotel of Paris at the Champs-Elysées.

By the way, the palm of the « Prize of the African entrepreneur of France 2014 » went to Didier Acouetey, Chairman of the AfricSearch group, a cabinet specialized in the recruitment of human resources.

Organized by the Africangels association, this prize aims at, according to the promoters, « supporting the emergence of talents that participate in the dynamism of France and in the brilliance of Africa. »

The jury, chaired by Eric Mboma, Ceo of Standard Bank RDC and Cécile Barry, chairwoman of Action’Elles, also rewarded other entrepreneurs of France.

African’Elles Category: Fati Niang, manager of the BLACK SPOON, the 1st African Food Truck

Emergence Category: Boris Mounet, Founder of the Meet My Designer, Le My Major Fashion Company

Special Prize Category: Evelyne Kitt Kitt, KITT FOOD Industry, Company specialized in the processing of deep-frozen precooked exotic products

Social Business Category: Dominique Buendé, Chairman of the QuickDo, Start-up specialized in the conception, development and exploitation of digital services for and towards the countries of South.

Honor Prize Category: Paul Derreumaux, Founder the Bank Of Africa group to praise the whole of their works at the African continent level
