Africa Top Success Ils font l'Afrique
With his success in 2013 in Dakar, the Africa Fête Itinérant Festival (FAFI 2014) is launched in Benin.
According to the organizers, « it is with the aim of strengthening the synergies between cultural operators and favoring the African musical variety« .
For this edition, the organizers are planning to set up an artistic place of residence that proposes a focal point between the music of Beninese, Senegalese, Cameroonian and Marseilles.
This big meeting remains an occasion for the celebration of the cultural Pan-Africanism and the cultural melting pot through professional meetings.
Various subjects will be tackled namely: the international production and broadcasting standards, the inventory of the sponsoring and the patronage in special event management in Africa, the fight against the piracy and the on-line sale of musical works.
From this perspective, the artist of Burkina-Faso Smarty will make 100 % live show on 20th September at the Amitié Stadium. Residence of creation « Yes Papa » will be organized there from 10th to 18th Septembe. On 19th September, a residence concert will take place.
Let us note that the Africa Fête Itinerant Festival is the continuation of the previous editions.
About twenty editions in Paris (1978/2000) and six editions in the United States took place in the 90s.
Since 2001, twelve editions have been organized in Dakar and in the regions of Senegal, nine editions in Marseille, France.
